You’ll certainly get better at knowing how your instrument responds, and you’ll develop an instinct for where pitches lie. But try picking up a new piece of music and listening to it in your mind—can you truly hear it, or do you need to visualize your instrument to follow along? If you can’t audiate music away from your instrument, you’re missing a core musicianship skill. Flawless Ear Training is designed to build that independent, internal musical ear.
