The Composing Hour is a year of daily audio sessions that train you to hold and shape music in your head. Year 2 is counterpoint. Composition lessons are private study, with four recorded reviews of your scores a month. Form and Analysis is eighteen months on how pieces are built.

Year 2 is counterpoint. You hold one line steady in your head while a second one moves against it, then a third and a fourth. Twenty-two sessions, one every two weeks, so each has time to settle before the next. Session 1 opens with a primer on audiation before the species work starts. All audio, nothing to read.
