UreMusic is a website that provides students the opportunity to study music composition online, from the comfort of home. In addition to private lessons provided through “The Composers Studio” we provide useful articles for musicians and composers interested in the process of composing music. Our goal is to provide exceptional, unsurpassed training for composers, worthwhile articles, and resources for the hobbyist and professional.
UreMusic was launched in 1996 by professional composer and instructor Kevin Ure. Ure has a Masters in Music Composition from The University of Arizona. He has worked with prominent ensembles, studied with the world’s foremost composers, and written extensively on the craft of music. Kevin Ure's students, past and present, have included university professors, doctoral students, professional composers, film and video composers, as well as amateur composers, hobbyists, and retirees.
